"WINTER IS COMING." And that sentence isn't just referring to the frightful winter class sessions that colleges have to offer..trust me I know because I'm enrolled in one. Winter is here whether we like it or not, and from the recent 73 degree December days, this can obviously be questioned. I can't help but think that the treacherous conditions are lurking before us, so here is a little footwear inspo to prepare you for what is to come.
The only boots you'll need this winter:
The Boots Wit Da Fur: This one is obvious. It's going to get cold....and slushy, so make sure you remain dry with a boot that says "I'm more hip than bean boots--because the same purpose is being served in a more unique way." Yes. It's time for the Bean boots to step back. Way back. |
The Rain Boot In Disguise: This boot is simply a triple win. Dry-warm-stylish. The rain boot, disguised to look appealing, has been popping up all over. It's a perfect pair of shoes to compensate for the crazy Virginia weather that we experience. And they are guaranteed to make you look less crazy when it's sleeting in the morning and sunny by early afternoon. Lord knows we have all had those days. |
The Happy Boot: Everyone has that boot that just plainly makes them happy. For me, it's this one. I definitely have been wearing these bad boys out over the past couple months, and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon. I love the color and the height, and not to mention, they are super easy to wear on a daily basis. If the heel isn't your thing, try going for a chesnut brown color in a shorter heeled style. |
